Praising God!

Praising someone is a way of saying you appreciate and admire them. The best way of doing this is by trying to be like that person. That is what draws you closer to them. They become your mentor, teaching you about those things that are of real value in life. The most sincere way to praise that person, will be to follow their advice and injunctions. The most sincere way to praise God is to do His will by keeping the two commandments Jesus Christ left us, and developing His attributes in ourselves, not simply praising with our lips and doing something else with our lives. Jesus said come unto me and learn, I am humble and gentle of spirit. He is our example, let's follow His lead. He said love God with the whole of your being, let's do that. He said love others as you love yourself because God loves everyone. Then do that. You are not more special than the next person in the eyes of God even though our ego will deceive us that we are. We are all God's children and His wish is that we all experience His fullness in salvation. Live a simple, contented, loving, productive and purposeful life and God will be highly praised.
